Kate was born in Toulouse, where she spent her childhood and adolescence, practising classical, jazz and contemporary dance very seriously, from the age of 6.
She grew up to the sounds of Miles Davis’s trumpet, Ella Fitzgerald’s captivating voice, Sarah Vaughan and Claude Nougaro’s poetry, not to mention Stevie Wonder’s genius and Beyonce’s charisma.
She gained entry to Bruno Vandelli’s professionnel dance centre, where his strict work ethic is well known.
At the same time she studied opera singing with Mme. Matranga, followed by American technique with Mr. Skiller Hamilton and Armande Altai, among others. These years of learning would enable Kate to acquire the solid foundations empowering her to become the budding artist of her ambitions.
After this multidisciplinary training school that involved singing, dance and theatre, she moved to Paris.
She wanted to give substance to her voice, to sculpt it, and give it a unique timbre.
Her work as an artist in musical shows such as “Les Années Twists”, “Les Années Zazous”, “Hair” and recently “Zorro”… at the Folies Bergère, confirms her professionalism.
She is also seen on television with Arthur in the programmes “La Fureur” and “Les Années-Tubes” presented by Jean-Pierre Foucault, and on Rai 1 (Italy) in the legendary show “Top of the Pop”.
She explored various musical worlds with Benjamin Diamond during his European (electro) tour Séta Touré ( African) and Sophia Nelson (Soul & Funk) as a chorus-dancer.
